Souvenir copies of the special edition currency were distributed during the event at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Building in Pasay City held on August 10, 2012 to the 9 ambassadors of ASEAN countries, namely: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
