2018 New Generation Currency Coin Set

The New Generation Currency (NGC) Coin Series Replaces the BSP Coin Series issued in 1995. The higher denomination coins feature prominent Filipino heroes: Apolinario Mabini (10-Piso), Andres Bonifacio (5-Piso), and Jose Rizal (1-Piso) in their obverse side. The lower denominations (25-Sentimo, 5-Sentimo and 1-Sentimo) feature the sun and three stars, which represent important symbols in the Philippine flag. The reverse side of all denominations showcases the different flora endemic to the Philippines and the BSP seal. The complete NGC coin set has only six (6) denominations.
