The Bankaw revolt (-) was a religious uprising against Spanish colonial rule led by Bankaw, Datu of Limasawa, Carigara, Abuyog, Sogod (now part of southern Leyte). The Tamblot Uprising influence Bankaw to start his own revolt, together with his 2 sons and 1 daughter and a babaylan named Pagali. He convinced 6 other villages to join the revolt.
