Reverse
The reverse depicts the first mass in the Philippines happened at Limasawa, Southern Leyte (March 31, 1521). The mass was conducted by the priest Pedro de Valderrama from Magellan's expedition crew. Important figures who attended the mass were Magellan, Rajah Colambu, Rajah Siagu and Antonio Figafetta, all of them shown in this medal.
