Lt. Gen. Mamertito Natividad y ALejandrino
Mamertito Natividad y Alejandrino was bron in Bacolor, Pampanga on . His father Memerto Sr. was a landowner in Nueva Ecija and his mother Gervasia was the sister of Mariano, father of Gen. Jose Alejandrino of Arayat.
He studied at the Ateneo Municipal de Manila and at the College of San Juan de Letran.
When his father was executed by the Spaniards as a subversive in San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. Mamerto Jr. known as Mamertito in the family or "Little Mamerto" - joined the Philippine Revolution together with his five brothers (Benito, Salvador, Joaquin, Pedro, Francisco) to avenge their father's death. It was the words of Memertito to his mother "the duty of a son".
Mamertito won an impressive string of victories against the Spanish forces in Pintong Bato (Cavite) in 1896 and in the following year in Aliaga (Nueva Ecija), in San Rafael (Bulacan), in Tayug (Pangasinan), in Karangalan (Nueva Ecija).
On , Emilio Aguinaldo, the Captain-General of the revolutionary forces, promoted him to the rank of Lieutenant-General as second-in-command to Aguinaldo.
At 26, Mamertito was the youngest three-star General in Aguinaldo's army.
He Married Trinidad Tinio on . She was the daughter of Don Casimiro Tinio known as Kapitan Berong of Aliaga.
He was killed by as Spanish sniper on , at Cabiao, Nueva Ecija while leading 200 men on a recon mission. His brothers, Benito and Salvador were with him when he was shot. They buried him near Biak-na-Bato.

Issued for the commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Lt. Gen. Mamertito Natividad on . This medal is 300 mintage only. 180 pcs of these were pre-sold to a private group before minting. Meaning that only 120 pcs are available for collectors to share. COA Serial Number MN001 was given to a descendant of Lt. Gen. Natividad and Serial Number MN000 for Specimen Copy of Alamat bringing the actual Mintage to 301. This is a stand-alone release and not part of the series "Philippine Historical Figures Series".
