It is claimed by many numismatists and Filipinos that it was used as a Promotional Token, which it can be exchange with a bottle or pack of vegetable oil. But we categorized it at most as Advertising Token in this catalog, as we have not found any contemporary literature, posters, advertisement or newspapers to support the claim.
