Remarks

Clark Air Base gets its name from Maj. Harold M. Clark of the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Born in Minnesota and raised in Manila, he was the first American to fly to Hawaii. Clark died on , in a seaplane crash in Panama and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery.
