In , the Central Bank of the Philippines (CBP) issued its fourth issue but third printed official banknotes series called Ang Bagong Lipunan Series, consisting of 6 denomination

The succeeding released notes, the words "ANG BAGONG LIPUNAN" were no longer overprinted, but instead incorporated into the design. On , the new simplified seal of CBP were used, and the notes were printed by Security Printing Plant during its soft opening.
The last printing of the Ang Bagong Lipunan series banknote was on 1985 during the term of President Ferdinand E. Marcos and CBP Governor Jose B. Fernandez, Jr.. A total of 3,767,450,000 notes with a value of ₱98,539,500,000 were issued for this series.
